Great Grant Granted!

The Trillium Foundation and the Ontario Arts Council have contributed to the upcoming tour of “First Dance.” They have given $20,000 toward the tour and developing the show to its final form!

“First Dance” is a play to initiate post-performance dialogue between vulnerable individuals facing social stigmas, and members of their potential support groups, social services agencies and the broader Burlington community. These discussions will address the impact of alienation and the nature and benefits of effective support networks for those affected by bullying, homophobia and other forms of discrimination.
