TBT is eager to encourage longer development/workshop productions
of theatre pieces in Hamilton. We will accept applications for pieces that:
1. Have ALREADY been produced in Hamilton (Fringe and self-productions count) - please include name, date, and venue of previous production.
2. Will recommend the funds towards workshopping and/or remounting a further iteration of that production in Hamilton - please include details, including location of workshop/show run.
3. We ask that successful applicants commit to inviting/including us as audience in the further development of your work.
Hello Trevor, David Langlois here, founder/all round factotum for MetaPhysical Theatre. I'm writing to inquire whether the deadline has passed for the OAC's Theatre Recommender Grants? I pose that question because I've written a theatrical embellishment of a poem titled 'The Highwayman', one wherein scenes have been written to bridge the stanzas. I'm aware that TBT serves as a Grant Recommender for the OAC, hence this message. In 2023, I received a $1000 Theatre Recommender Grant to convene a script development workshop courtesy of Odyssey Theatre.
